…but yes, I’m moving. I’m not really utilizing this domain as much as I thought I would, so will be moving ye’ ole blog to jasonpreu.wordpress.com because it’s free and I won’t have to maintain anything server-side. Update your readers and/or bookmarks because this herrr mofo gets flushed down the cyber-toilet at month’s end.
Sleeping, peaceful, beautiful little girl:

BOOYAA!

My brother Trav’s wife is laboring right now. Another little Preu girl on the way. My mom will have 3 female grandchildren to make up for having 3 sons. I hope to get some new pics up of B-Max soon. I’m working this week on getting her birth announcement put together. Mom and baby are still doing well, though both have a cold now, which makes it rough at night when trying to sleep and neither B-Max nor Sa Rah can breathe properly. But, we went to the doc’s yesterday and she’s getting plenty of O2 and has gained almost 2 pounds since birth - so she’s not hurting.
Um, what else? Check out The Kills’ new album. Dirty as ever. Good day.
Though slightly on the chill side, Easter egg hunting on the Louisburg Cider Mill ruled. I took Ro down to hang out with his buddies Cooper, Emily, and Tyler.

Although he looks kinda freaked out in the photo above, he wasn’t at all. He was pissed at me for making him look at the camera instead of looking at the bunny, which he was really intrigued by.
The family’s already calling her B-Max.

We gave her “Ninja” as a middle name because she busted out some Shinobi super-moves on her mom’s womb. Her first name is in tribute to Beatrix Kiddo, super-heroine extraordinairre and another undisputed master of moves most destructive.

Ro-Dog, in big brother mode.

Score.
…and we have a beautiful baby girl in arms. We actually took off again around 12:30am this morning, got to the hospital at 12:50 and had baby at 1:24. No time for any pain meds. Sarah got her robe on. The nurse checked her. The doc showed up 10 mins later. 15 mins after that - SPLAT! 7lbs, 13oz, 20 inches of sweet monkeyness. Photos galore to come. Little baby is healthy, pink, and all-too-ready to suckle upon the teat.
Jen B., you must’ve dropped some crazy hoodoo on my wife when we saw you at Chipotle yesterday.
I don’t want to call it a false alarm - because Sarah’s contractions were 5 minutes apart for the better part of a couple of hours - but we got to the hospital and weren’t in active labor yet. So, they said we could stay, but we opted to come back home and sleep in a comfy bed. We’ll keep you updated.
(Sorry we missed giving you a birthday twin, Fly!)
