Haha Alexander’s very bad day 😂 I love that book and I often also quote that line. I completely agree with this post, I can’t fathom why people are still on that platform. Or twitter.
Nor can I, my friend. I will fully admit to being enamored of both early on but my digital life has improved infinitely since choosing to avoid social media. I definitely miss staying caught up with friends and family from afar (I moved a lot as a kid), but the amount of sheer bullshit and assholery those platforms enable astound me. I do feel empathy for small businesses that rely on them as business tools. I much prefer ye olde simple weblog. 🙂
