PHANTOM OF THE OPERA – ALLOY ORCHESTRA

World premier of the newly restored definitive print of the 1925 Lon Chaney classic, with a live score performed by the world famous Alloy Orchestra. The film has been restored in the very complex original color scheme and has been printed with 218 tint changes from the original. The film also includes the original 2 strip Technicolor “Bal Masque� scene from preservationist David Shepard and a digitally recreated scene-the lost Technicolor scene. The Alloy Orchestra (Roger Miller, Ken Winokur, Terry Donahue) is the country’s best-known accompanists of silent films, and has performed everywhere from the Louvre, Lincoln Center, Telluride, the National Gallery, the Academy of Motion Pictures to film festivals, universities and museums.
