It’s Alive!

Finally. Five hours of tinkering between last night and this morning and I’ve got a home page (with working rollover) and a blog header. Let me know what you think.

In other news:

The Cigar and Eyepatch Society (KC writing group) met this afternoon to discuss some words on paper. We focused mainly on Kyle’s story, “Auburn Park”. Most often a lively discussion, although I think Kyle might have felt ganged up on. He needn’t have, though. I think the group generally liked the story and they were so quick to critique because they wanted that story to be fully realized. An all around good afternoon with literary-and-alcohol minded friends.

In a related aside, I’ll have more info on CES as I get some of the design work done for our message boards and the like. For those in the Kansas City area, and interested in having their writing critiqued, we meet the third Saturday of every month at W.J. McBride’s (my favorite KC area pub) on 119th and Metcalf from noon until 3:30pm.

The folks went to the Omaha Zoo for their 30th anniversary. Hope they took the camera.
